Intent

Removal of the development branch.

Test jobs that were running at the development branch are transferred to the release pipeline, and if those test jobs fail, the release will be abandoned.

Release pipeline is run when pushed/merged to the main branch.

Delete Branch "discard-development"

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
